We created “ECODIAG”, a technical works study office, first of its kind within the groupFirst entity of the Group: “Ecodiag engineering” is a works study office specialised in calculating and drawing up plans in the field of thermal engineering and electricity based in Saint-Malo (35).
We developed a dense regional networkA second set up in Nantes launched the development of the Group at a regional level. Today, NOX has 23 agencies in France.
First external growthNOX Group grew yet again thanks to purchasing “Topo Concept” and “d’Icare” in 2005, works study offices and technical engineering. The Group continued to expand even more thanks to taking over “ASTEC” in 2006 and “Cabinet A” an engineering firm in 2008.
New know-howThe Group has become a major player in managing construction projects thanks to purchasing “CVO France” (delegated project management and help with project management) and “Batika”, a company specialised in managing turn key projects for shop interior layout and design. The Group has also managed to complete its general engineering activity and project management thanks to taking over “CVO2”.
The Group continues to developWe took over “Ingédia Engineering” which brought our business to an international level: The Group managed to export itself, setting itself up in Bulgaria, thus making its business activities even more diversified thanks to new skills in Energy and in Infrastructure. We also reinforced our regional network in France.
“Jacobs France” takeoverTaking over Jacobs France in the Summer of 2016 meant that the Group integrated new skills in the pharmaceutical and health industry with over 600 employees. The NOX Group figured in the list of top ten companies in the French market for engineering and construction.
We took on the “LBE Fluides” teamThe NOX Group took on “LBE fluides” company on the 27th July 2017, a former subsidiary of EDEV (EDF Group), who have now become the NOX agency in Centre-Val de Loire.
Association and creation of NOX Hispania & LATAMThe NOX Group creates with Spanish partners the Holding NOX Hispania & Latam to develop its Engineering and Keys on Hand (Design & Build) activity in the Iberian Peninsula and Latin America.

We have 10 flexible and reactive hubs throughout the world, in many different geographical areas. Our employees present on site know the countries inside out and are working to develop our know-how. They have created a rapid-response capability in Europe, in America as well as in Asia. In this 2017 we are creating the subsidiaries of Spain and Mexico.
A strong and dynamic management team
In January 2018, to support its development, NOX Group structured its legal form as an incorporated company to a Board of Directors, with a new mode of governance. The CEO and founder of Group NOX, Gildas GARREC has made a point of working with experienced and passionate professionals from the sector, each with rich and varied career paths.
Gildas Garrec is a trained Engineer He is DUT qualified in Thermal engineering having obtained his qualification at the Lorient IUT (University institute of Technology) followed by a Masters in heritage building management, which he obtained at the UFR ESTHUA University (ANGERS). He started his career at the building inspection office “Socotec” where he worked for 3 years before vesturing into entrepreneurship at just 25 years of age.
Arnaud Vallée is a qualified civil Engineer, having graduated from Hertford University in England. He joined the NOX Group in 2000. For external growth operations, he started off as the executive Director of a works study office before going on to manage 2 subsidiaries in the Group. In 2012, he was appointed to the management team for “Ingédia”(subsidiary of the Group) and became General Director in 2016.
Jérôme Plénard is an Engineer who graduated from the ENSAM (Higher national school for Architecture in Montpelier). He has acquired 20 years’ experience, 7 of which as General Director and associate for the BCA Group, 4 years as part of the general management and development team for the IDEC Group and Marraud. He also worked for 2 years in international management for the Grontmij Group: He joined the NOX Group in 2013.
Lionel Lemaréchal is a Social law graduate from the University of Rennes. He is also qualified with a Masters in Human Resources, which he obtained at the ESSEC business school. He progressed for 15 years in the HR department of the Bouygues Group before going on to join the NOX Group in 2013. He has been an industrial tribunal advisor for the council of employers (industrial sector) at the Nantes advisory centre since 2008.
Mikaël Veillon is an Engineer who graduated from ENSIP and ENSMA. He joined the Ingédia company in 2002, a company that was taken over by NOX in 2012. He then became head of subsidiaries in the East of France acting as operational Director and was promoted to Deputy General Manager for Engineering in 2016. In February 2017, the group decided to set up a division dedicated to productivity and performance (Quality, management control) and appointed him as Director.
Patrick DUBOIS is a construction law graduate from the ESC in Lille and the University of Lille. A major part of his career has been dedicated to managing local public companies. He is responsible for setting up 4 mixed economy companies. He joined NOX in 2015 to steer public relations and is also vice president for the national association of local public companies.
Graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique and ENA, he began his career in the Corps of Armament Engineers at the Ministry of Defense. He will serve in the Directorate of International Affairs (DAI) and will collaborate with André Giraud, Minister of Defense (1986 -1988). In 1993, he became the Chief of Staff of Henri Conze, General Delegate for Armaments, and in 1995 he joined the Picardie Region as Director General of Services. He then began an industrial career by joining the company Thales where he will remain 12 years as Strategy Director of Thomson Brandt Armaments then the part Radar and Countermeasures, and finally, the Optronics division. In 2000, he was appointed Director of Optical Activities (HTO: High Tech Optics), which were outsourced by Thales in 2005. He then took over the management of HTO renamed QIOPTIQ. In 2010, Benoît Bazire becomes the CEO of Areva TA, Areva's defense subsidiary. In 2014, he decided to create Caleti, an engineering consulting company.
Matthieu Pelissie du Rausas
Matthieu Pélissié of Rausas is a Civil Engineer and holds the MBA from the Collège des Ingénieurs. In 1993, when he obtained his two diplomas, he went to work in the United States for 18 months, for Thomson CSF, as VSNE, to do Business Development. Upon his return in 1995, he joined McKinsey & Company where he was elected Associate Director in 2001 and Senior Associate Director in 2007. He is transferred to South Africa to support the development of the company, and practices in China and the Maghreb. to support its clients in several acquisition and joint venture projects. During his 22-year career, he has worked in various business sectors such as Computer Engineering, Telecom, Chemistry, Aerospace and Defense. For 6 months, Matthieu Pélissié du Rausas has founded his own consulting firm "Second Opinion". He is involved in strategic and organizational decision-making with executives.
